A Joey Votto Jersey is the perfect way to show how much a fan that you are! The young Cincinnati Reds first baseman is showing signs of improvement each and every season. Many believe that he will lead the Reds to the post-season in the very near future.

Votto, who plays first base for the Cincinnati Reds, was drafted out of Richview Collegiate Institute high school in the 2nd round of the 2002 MLB amateur draft. Votto would make his professional debut on September 4th, 2007 when MLB rosters expanded to allow 40 players. In 2008, Votto became the Reds starting first baseman and had a breakout season. Known mostly as a great doubles/home run hitter, he would set the Reds club record for the most RBI in a season for a rookie. He also hit three home-runs in a single game that season. In 2009 Votto would deal with numerous personal issues off the field, but still showed that he can be counted on as he was among the National League leaders in some of the major statistical categories (AVG, OBP, and SLG). Joey had one amazing stretch in September where he hit 10 double over the span of 5 games! Look for Votto to continue to excel for the Reds over the next decade.
